Fewer than 1% of dentists in the United States tested positive for COVID-19 as of June.<br />A report published by the Journal of the American Dental Association reported the news today.<br />This percentage is "far below" that of other health professionals in the United States, says UPI.<br />Healthcare workers are 12 times as likely to be diagnosed with the virus than the rest of the population.<br />The report is based on the results of a survey of a representative sample of 2,200 dentists nationwide.<br />They found that 99% of dentists are using enhanced infection control procedures and disinfection practices.
